WHY GIVE YOUR TAX SAVINGS TO A FUND MANAGER?

• ISAs are free from capital gains tax and income tax but, for many tax payers, charges outweigh the tax savings, particularly when you consider that few tax payers should ever pay capital gains tax outside of an ISA.

• Purchasing a low cost index tracking fund, rather than a fund with higher annual charges within an ISA may allow investors to keep most of their tax relief and may give them a better chance of maximising their long-term investment returns.

VANGUARD INTRODUCES GLOBAL SMALL-CAP INDEX FUND FOR EUROPEAN MARKET

Vanguard Investments Europe today announced the launch of a new equity index portfolio: Vanguard® Global Small-Cap Index Fund. The portfolio is the 31st portfolio in the Irish-domiciled Vanguard Investment Series plc funds.

VANGUARD LAUNCHES INDEX-TRACKING FUNDS FOR U.K. INVESTORS

Vanguard Investments U.K., is launching a total of 11 UK and Irish domiciled funds available to U.K. investors. Annual charges range from 0.15% (UK Equities) to 0.55% (Emerging Market Equities).
